As always, we look forward to your feedback in the official forums about this major change to Dirty Bomb. There is no silver-bullet solution for this problem, and while this is an important step forward, there may be some issues as we work to improve NGS and fix any issues that might arise. While we are confident that NGS will be an effective tool against cheaters in the long-term, we'd like to urge patience in the short-term. NGS has been designed to allow us to more easily and efficiently protect Dirty Bomb from cheating and abusive programs. Over the past several months, we have been working to implement a new anti-cheat system. It's time for another Fine Tuning Update! No Mercs or Maps with this one, instead we're giving you a plethora of balance changes and fixes, including one major addition we know you've been waiting for. The only reason I'm posting about it now is because I can't play it as there's a 1.8Gb update.

It's still in beta mind you but it's free (for the forever!) so you guys should really give it a go. It's like the rush mode I always wanted after BF3 (to which BF4 or BFH sadly never lived up to). I've put 30 hours into this so far and it's just fan-fucking-tastic. Brings me back to the good ol' days eh, fattakin? Pace is fast and everything looks nice and tight. I'll be there.ĮDIT: I didn't even comment on the video! I think it looks great! Has a feel of W:ET that ET:QW and Brink just lacked a little. Just hope they can give something that gains and holds on to communities. But the SD direction of objective based gameplay is second to none, and I think their gunplay outdoes most of the competition too. More due to communities not building and less than stellar networking. SD have never done things simply, their output since W:ET hasn't hit the same strides but I don't think that has anything to do with failures on the gameplay. Far more different types of objectives! BF is "go here, blow up that" or "go here, stay here for as long as possible", rinse and repeat. Simplicity?! The Splash Damage approach is far more complex than any Battlefield. Games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 have more than satisfied my craving for objective based gameplay and I dont think I could go back to the relative simplicity of the Splashdamage approach. Part of me is excited but part of me is a bit weary.
